    Holiday Hamper Initiative

    Dec 1, 2017

For the second year in a row, we are organizing Holiday Hampers for our own families.  This year the need is even slightly greater and we are collecting, building and delivering 102 hampers.  Students and classes are collecting items and money in their Day 1 Period 2 class until Monday, December 18th as part of a class competition.  We wanted to let families know that anything they donate will be staying in our school community; like foodbanks (on a smaller scale) we keep a pantry at our school as a way of helping families throughout the year in particular times of need.  Likewise, our school account allows us to organize gift cards for families as well.

And like last year, if you give a cheque with your full name and address on it for any amount $20 or more, we will submit it for a tax receipt.  It will count towards your 2017 taxes.
