The Graduation Program consists of courses at the Grades 10, 11 and 12 levels.  Students in Grades 8 and 9 must take eight courses of which English, Social Studies, Math, Science, Physical Education, Applied Skills and Fine Arts are mandatory.  While most students take a Modern Language for their eighth course, it is not mandatory for graduation.  Students must obtain 80 credits in The Graduation Program in order to receive their Dogwood Diploma as outlined in the table below.

Post-secondary institutions often require students to complete specific courses to get into certain programs. All students need to keep in mind the requirements of any post-secondary programs in which they may be interested.
