Welcome back Families of Laura Secord!  We hope everyone had a good winter break and that the first full week back wasn’t too painful to swing back into the morning routine.  Stay tuned on information on our upcoming Spring Carnival.

Workshop on Anxiety

Thursday, Jan 18th at 6:30 at Gordon School

Gordon School is hosting a workshop for parents on Anxiety. It will be held on Thursday, Jan 18th at 6:30 at Gordon – It should be very informative. The $5 fee includes pizza and child-minding.   (see attachment for details)

· Petition For Out-of-School Care

o   Parents at Lord Tennyson are petitioning Rob Fleming, Minister of Education and Katrina Chen, Minister of State for Child Care, to “Integrate Out-of-School Care into Our Schools.’ Please consider signing and sharing: https://www.change.org/p/rob-fleming-mla-leg-bc-ca-integrate-out-of-school-care-into-our-schools.

· Petition To Accelerate Seismic Upgrades
