Do you want to know more about our school?

Please join us at our meetings!  If you come, you will hear about school events and initiatives, have the opportunity to ask questions, and meet other parents.

Do you shop at COBS Bread?
cobs.pngWe are participating in the COBS Bread “Dough Raiser” program. This is an easy way to raise funds for our school!

Each time you make a purchase at COBS Bread (Davie Street, West 4th Avenue or Robson Street), simply mention that you are from Roberts Annex, and COBS will process 5% of the total sale back to our school.

Visitors Sign-In
Please remember to sign-in and wear a visitors badge if you are visiting the school or volunteering in the school. This is for the safety of our students and to ensure we account for everyone in case of an emergency.
The sign-in is at the office.

Staff Washrooms
The washrooms in the hallway by the photocopy room are for adult use only.
We are working on independence with our students especially with toileting.
Please do not use the adult washrooms with your child, encourage them to use the children’s toilets independently.

Late or absent?
If your child is going to be late or absent please call the safe arrival line as early as possible. The number is 604-713-5159 extension 71.
Don’t forget to pick up a Yellow Welcome Slip from Andrea if you arrive after 9:00am. This is very important for our children’s safety to ensure all of our students are marked arrived in the attendance system.

Roberts Annex is a nut allergy aware school. While we cannot prevent or eliminate allergens in the school, families are reminded that we have students in the school who have severe allergies to certain foods.

We encourage families to take this into account when bringing snacks and foods into the school.  You can help prevent allergic reactions by speaking to your child about not sharing their food with other students.
If your child has a food allergy, let the office know and talk to your child about not taking food from other students.

Following is a link from Vancouver Coastal Health about the shared responsibilities of allergies VCH Life Threatening Allergies
