Pacific Spirit Community Health Centre:

This Vancouver Coastal Health facility is located at 2110 West 43’rd Ave.  For general information, phone 604-261-6366 (office hours).  Among numerous services are the following:

- Drop-in Confidential Boulevard Youth Clinic:  A community health nurse, doctor and counsellor can be accessed to discuss sexuality, sexual health, STIs (sexually transmitted infections), pregnancy, body image, nutrition, sleep, stress and other health matters.
Tues. 2:30 – 5:00, Thurs. 3:30 – 6:00
- Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Intake Clinic:  Assessment by mental health team and referral for ongoing support is provided.
             Tues. and Wed. 9:00 - 4:00 walk-in, 3’rd floor

This website provides self-help resources, information and education for children, youth and adults.  The MindShift App is also available, which can be a helpful tool to help youth face challenging situations.  Some information is available in other languages.
This comprehensive website provides information, self-help resources and referral details for youth, friends and families.  Includes specifics about depression, anxiety, stress, alcohol and drug use, psychosis and body image, including self-assessment quizzes.
Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre:; 604-875-2084 (office hours)
This is a provincial information and resource centre for children, youth and families.  Learn about mental health, substance use, medications, eating disorders, healthy living and connect to peer support.  Resources are also available in other languages.
This website provides information on mental health and substance use.  There is a search feature to find information and workbooks on a variety of topics, including self-help resources and resources to help support others.  There are also screening tests for depression, anxiety, risky drinking and well-being.
This website focuses on helping youth stop the spread of sexual pictures or videos.  If you or someone you know has been hurt by a self/peer exploitation incident, help and guidance are available.
Kids Help Phone:; 1-800-668-6868 (anywhere, 24/7)
This is a national, toll-free, 24-hour, bilingual, anonymous and confidential resource.  It provides phone and web counselling, and a referral service for children and youth.
Crisis Centre:; 604-872-3311 (Vancouver, 24/7); 1-800-SUICIDE (anywhere in BC, 24/7)
Provides immediate connection to a counsellor when a person is in need of support.  The website provides details of local programs and services, such as the following:

This agency provides urgent response (within 72 hours) and short-term mental health support to those experiencing acute psychiatric or emotional crises.  Includes assessment, consultation, intervention and referral services.
