LEADERS program information:
Commitment, Initiative, and Communication: These are the three cornerstones of effective, responsible leadership. They are the core of the Magee Leaders Program, and the basis of the programs' goals:
Commitment: to instill an understanding of the responsibilities of citizenship, and of the individual's potential to effect positive change in our society.
Initiative: to encourage students to act on their convictions and to exercise sound judgment in doing so.
Communication: to develop in each student the most essential leadership tool - the ability to communicate effectively - by building skill, confidence, and understanding.
The MAGEE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM fosters the responsibilities of citizenship and individual potential to effect positive change in our society. The program encourages students to act on their convictions and to exercise sound judgment in doing so. The cohort consists curious, compassionate and committed grade 8 and 9 students looking for academic enrichment, and leadership and community service opportunities.
