Awards & Achievements

HONOUR ROLL
The Honor Roll is published after the final reporting periods.  To qualify for Honour Roll you must achieve an average mark of 80% or higher.  If a student receives an “I” or an “F” (as a final mark) in any course, they are disqualified from the Honour Roll.  With the exception of a few excluded courses, all courses are used for the calculation of Kitsilano's Honour Roll. ​To be considered for this recognition, students must be enrolled in a minimum number of Kitsilano Secondary courses:​
                Grade 8-9     : 8 courses
                Grade 10-11 : 7 courses
                Grade 12       : 6 courses
PRINCIPAL'S LIST
The Principal’s List recognizes those students who have outstanding achievement in the courses in which they are enrolled.  A student must achieve an average of 90% or higher in order to qualify for the Principal’s List.  With the exception of a few excluded courses, all courses are used for the calculation of Kitsilano's Principal's List. ​To be considered for this recognition, students must be enrolled in a minimum of Kitsilano Secondary C​ourses: 
                Grade 8-9    : 8 courses
                Grade 10-11: 7 courses
                ​Grade 12    : 6 courses 
Courses not included in the calculation of Honour Roll or Principal's List are:
   - Community Service, Grad Transitions, Work Experience, ELL and Skills Block
