New Registration Process 2019-2020

 

With the opening of school registration for the 2019-20 school year on November 1st, the VSB will be implementing a new online registration service for parents.  The registration process will have two steps:

Step 1:   Complete the online registration process at www.vsbapplynow.vsb.bc.ca  Print out the completed registration form.

Step 2:   Bring the completed registration form along with the required documents to your catchment school. 

Note: the registration process is not complete until you have competed both steps in the process.

Please note the proposed General Gordon catchment changes which may change for Sept. 2020.   The Vancouver School Board is still in discussion regarding this issue.   (See Registration Info Page)

 

 

Kindergarten Registration

  Late French Immersion Gr. 6/7

Registration for Late French Immersion Program begins the first Monday in November and runs until the Last Day in January for those entering Gr. 6 in the following September.
 
Students must provide the school when applying:
- The most up to date report card
- A letter written by the STUDENT indicating why they want to take this program
- A filled out District application Forms.
 
 Students with siblings who are currently enrolled in the Late French Immersion Program at General Gordon are granted spots into the program first with a random draw being conducted after the application process has closed for the remaining spaces.
 
Please note this is an intensive French Language program.  Students who succeed in this program are high achievers who have been receiving excellent grades and are fluent English Speakers.
