Scholarship & Bursary Information

Grade 12 students are encouraged to download the Sir Winston Churchill school app to receive the most up-to-date external scholarship opportunity notifications.

 
 

Churchill internal scholarships will be determined by the SWC Scholarship Committee.

 
 

2018-2019 District Authority Scholarships

 
Grade 12 students may apply to multiple categories for the District Authority Scholarships, but a new application is required for each category applied for. Applications are due on March 14th, 2019 in the office
 
 

2019 Riley Park Hillcrest Community Association Scholarship

 
 Grade 12 students are encouraged to apply to the Riley Park Hillcrest Community Association (RPHCA) Scholarship.
 

Eligibility:

 
  • must have participated in a leadership role in the local community and school service work or volunteer activities that made an impact in the community
  •  
  • must reside within the province of British Columbia and possess a Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residence
  •  
  • must plan to enroll, for the first time, beginning in the fall, a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited post secondary institution or vocational technical school within Canada
  •  
  • must have made exceptional contributions to both school and community service, initiating community development, leadership, affecting positive change, menotring others, and/or personal development and growth
 
*NoteGrades will not be a factor in the recipient selection.  We are looking for students who have shown to be passionate in improving their local community.
 
 

Applications are due on March 14th, 2019. Submit your completed application to either Mr. Land (main office), Dr. Gabbott (IBO office), or Ms.Yee (WEX office).  Please find the RPHCA Scholarship application below.
