   The Vancouver School Board, in partnership with the Piping
   Industry College of BC offer the ITA Youth TRAIN in
   Trades Plumbing program​
Students have the opportunity to earn both high school and post-secondary credits, while training to become a Level 1 certified ITA apprentice.​
Program Details​
This six-week program is held at the Piping Industry College of BC, on Annacis Island.
The School Board will cover the cost of tuition however, students are ​responsible to purchase their learning resources and provide a *refundable deposit.

Course ​Contents​
Students will apply their​ knowledge through hands-on learning experience and will study safe work practices, math, science, introduction to water pipe and drainage systems. Refer to the PIC website for more details.
  • Physics 11 or Science for Citizens 11
  • Math 11
  • ​"L" driver's license​
