Auto Collision Repairer/Motor Vehicle Body Repairer

  The Vancouver School Board, in partnership with Vancouver    Community College offer the ITA Youth TRAIN in    Trades Auto Collision Repair Technician program​
 
Students have the opportunity to earn both high school and post-secondary credits, while training to become a Level 1 certified ITA apprentice.
 
Program Details​
This full-time program is h​eld at Vancouver Community College (Broadway Campus). Classes run four days each week, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Vancouver School Board will cover the cost of tuition however, students will be responsible to purchase their own ​books, materials and U-Pass. 
 
Course Contents​
Students will learn how access vehicle damages, make repairs, restore damaged metal frames, remove and replace damaged sections.

Requirements
  • ​Automotive, machining, welding or metalwork courses (recommended)
  • an "L" driver's license​
  • attend the VCC Transportation Trades tour
