After-School Programs

 

Brock is very fortunate to have after-school special interest programs. Some of these programs are organized by the Tupper Community School Team, while others are provided by independent organizations (Little Mountain Neighborhood House, Science World).
 
Registration forms are available on the after-school program board outside the library.  
 

Fall 

After-School Fun and Games at Brock

 

Presented by Little Mountain Neighbourhood House.  

When: Tuesdays
 
Who: Grades K -3
 
Where: Gymnasium
 
Cost: $30 - some subsidies available (snack provided each session)

Intermediate Literacy Club

Presented by Little Mountain Neighbourhood House.  To register, please return the form that was sent home or pick one up from the After-School Programs board across from the computer lab.  Complete and return the form with a cheque to Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (registration is at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 outside of the office.  If you cannot register at that time, please contact Little Mounain Neighbourhood House directly.  Please make cheques payable to Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Society.
 
When: Thursdays (excluding holdiays and professional development days)
Who: Grades 4-7
Where: Room 204C
Cost: $40 for 10 weeks

This is a new program organized by Tupper Community School Team (CST) staff and volunteers, as follows:

Start Date: Friday, Jan 20, 27, Feb. 3, 10, 17, March 3
End Date:  Friday March 3
Time:  3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
 
Tupper CST will be at Brock on Friday, January 6 to inform students and distribute flyers with more information about this after-school program.  Please register on time, if we do not receive enough registrations, the program would need to be cancelled.  Thank you.

Super Science Club

Flyers to be coming home in the near future.  If your child wants to train like his or her favourite super hero this is the place to be!  This is a physical activity program that provides a foundation for children to learn how to move more efficiently so they can grow into adults who are active and healthy.
