Thanks for your support!

Information on Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease & other illnesses

Hello QEA Families,

We currently have quite a large number of students with a variety of illness, including one case of Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease, other colds and flu. I am attaching the VCH Publication that details a variety of illness and treatments.

For our part, QEA is increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of common areas. These areas are already cleaned regularly but we will be increasing the daily frequency of cleaning.

As a staff, we are continuing to encourage and model frequent hand-washing among students.

As parents, we are asking that if your child is showing signs of active illness as detailed in the publication, please consider keeping them home until such time as they are able to participate actively during the school day.

Please contact the office if you require any further information.

February 13
School not in Session - Professional Development Day - 19 February

Jsut a reminder to families that there is no school for students on Monday, February 19th.
