A big heartfelt Thank You to all the parents and guardians that helped put on the fabulous Staff Appreciation Lunch on Tuesday. Whether you provided glorious food and/or helped put the event on, the Staff is very grateful for the intent it was meant to be. The Staff greatly appreciate the wonderful treat!!
Thank you for all your hard work during the Chocolate Almond Fundraising campaign!! The PAC Executive and students worked extremely hard to raise funds for our school to put towards technology. The PAC in turn presented the school with a cheque for $10,000.00!!! Well done everyone! We look forward to putting some upgrades in place for our students!
As we head into next month's District Earthquake Drill, it is a good reminder to ensure that the Emergency Contacts and phone numbers that you provided to the school in September are up to date. It is imperative that the Office has updated contacts and working numbers in the case of an emergency.
If you are interested in volunteering with the school at any point and have not yet had a chance to attend one of our sessions, we'd love to see you Tuesday, April 4th at 9:00am in the Activity Room!
Important Change of Date Information for 2017-18 Choice Program Admission:
Given ongoing discussions at the provincial level regarding restored teacher collective agreement language and its implementation, the district has determined it is necessary to delay placement offers for ALL elementary and secondary district choice programs. This includes Early French Immersion, Mini School, Fine Arts, etc.)
The revised date for first placement offers for all district choice programs has been changed to Wednesday March 1, 2017.
We apologize for any inconvenience this change of date may cause students and families.
