Our students come from diverse backgrounds. Whether they are new to Canada, simply need to upgrade their grades or need to earn their Dogwood Diploma, each student has a rich history and great hopes for their future.
During Clarisse Bosco’s final year of high school she knew she wanted to pursue post-secondary education but she felt she had limited options. Bosco wanted to apply directly to university however her marks would not allow her to qualify for the entrance requirements at most Canadian institutions. read more
With a goal of pursuing music, Spencer Service is currently completing his Adult Diploma – the equivalent of a high school Dogwood diploma – through the Vancouver School Board’s (VSB) program. Service aspires to go to UBC for his post secondary studies, but needs to complete prerequisite courses beforehand. read mor
Like many students, Janice Fung entered university unsure of what career she would like to pursue. She attended Simon Fraser University, taking general studies courses with the idea that she may eventually complete her degree in Psychology and become a counsellor. read more
